    Salut mes amis ! Nous voici au mois de juillet et Le 7 c’est la premièr samedi du mois. C’est temps pour Notre déjeuner mensuel
    a partir de 0830hrs samedi,le 7 juillet. Ons est toujours au restaurent Normadin (en face de l’Hotel / Motel Bernière sur la rive sud de Notre belle ville de Québec. Au plaisir de se revoir.

    Hello to all ! The 7th July is the first Saturday of the month and that means it is time to break bread together. Yep, starting at 0830hrs we meet at the Normandin Restaurant ( across from the hotel / motel Bernière ) On the south shore from beautiful Quebec City. Hope to see you there.

    Our Ottawa and area group met for Breakfast again today, 09 June, the second Saturday of the month for our Ottawa area RCASC Breaky. Again it was smaller than usual, only 13 folks in attendance but a good time was had by all. We had a terrible Spring but Summer is here now in full force and today was fantastic, Mid 20’s. Those who did make it were Gerry & Barb Neville, Jim and Jane Smith, Bill & Marg Traynor, Frank & Shirley Pelletier, Bill Carvill & Bonnie Dannenberg, Moe Bourrie, plus Myself and Hilde. Our next Breaky will be at the same time and location, 09:00, at the Verona Pizza House at 1682 Cyrville Rd., Ottawa on14 July 2018. As usual, if you happen to be in Ottawa on this Saturday, please drop in, your always welcome and we would love to share our time with you. Take care…. Nil Sine Labore.

  4. Greetings from Winnipeg. The RCASC Breakfast Club met Saturday, May 26th at 10:30 A.M., at the Anavets clubroom on Empress Street. There were 20 in attendance: they were, Esther Berry, Rob and Sharon Carrey, Doug Cormie, Al Henderson, Helen and Douglas Langlotz, Jim MacGill, Marie Mandryk, Jim McInnis, Bob Naish, Rose Petry, Larry Rutt. Roy Solinger, who will be 98 years young this week, and friend Gerda, Lois Mader (KVA), Hugh MacKenzie (KVA), Tony Thiele (KVA) and yours truly and friend Ursula. This was our last meeting until we start again in September. Some of our members have already left the city for the lake for the summer. The 50/50 prize was won by Rob Carrey ($32.00), congrats Rob.     Our Ottawa and area group met today,12 May, the second Saturday of the month for our Ottawa area RCASC Breaky. Again it was a bit smaller than usual, only 14 folks in attendance but a good time was had by all. We haven’t had a very good Spring this year but today was fantastic, we should reach the Mid 20’s. I’m not sure if the guy’s have forgotten to come home from Florida or what but our Breaky’s have been pretty bleak the last few months. Those who did make it were Gerry & Barb Neville, Jim and Jane Smith, Bill Traynor, Harry Rideout, Frank Pelletier, David Hepner (guest), Lloyd Meyer (Guest), Earl Donaldson, Pete & Adel Denault plus Myself and Hilde. Our next Breaky will be at the same time and location, 08:45, at the Verona Pizza House at 1682 Cyrville Rd., Ottawa on 09 June 2018. As usual, if you happen to be in Ottawa on this Saturday, please drop in, your always welcome and we would love to share our time with you. Take care…. Nil Sine Labore.

  8. Greetings from Winnipeg. The RCASC/LOG Breakfast club met Saturday, April 21, at 10:30 A.M. at the Anavets Clubroom on Empress Street. There were 14 in attendance: Estherr Berry, Ross and Elfriede Campbell, Jim MacGill, Marie Mandryk, Bob Naish, Larry Rutt, Gordon and Heide Scott, Roy Solinger and his son Roy (Jr), Lois Mader (KVA), Hugh MacKenzie (KVA), Tony Thiele (KVA), and yours truly. A good time was had by all, good to have Bob Naish with us again, pleasure to meet Roy Solinger Jr. The 50/50 winning ticket for a prize of $25.00 was held by Elfriede Campbell, well done, congratulations Elfriede. We are planning to meet again, May 26th, same time, same venue, and as always, the welcome mat is out for you if you happen to be in the area (attending a Jets game)…until next time, keep well everyone and remember our CAF personnel serving away from home.   12. Greetings from Winnipeg, everyone. The RCASC Breakfast Club met this morning,10:30 A.M., Saturday March 17th at the Anavets on Empress Street. There were 17 of the “old guard” in attendance. Really good to have Elfriede Campbell back with us after a long illness in hospital and recovery at home. Also good to see Gary Farrell again. We remembered Bill Appleton and Dorothy Naish who have both departed for the Advance Party, they will be missed, may they Rest in Peace. The 50/50 Draw winning ticket was held by Blackie Blackadar, first time winner for a prize of $32.00, congratulations, Blackie. We are planning to meet again, April 21st, same time and venue, and as always, the welcome mat is out for you to join us, should you be in the area.   15. Good Morning from Winnipeg. The RCASC Breakfast Club gathered together on Saturday, February 10th,at 10:30 A.M., at the Anavets clubroom on Empress Street. There were 14 in attendance: Esther Berry, Seymour and Ruth Blackadar, Ross Campbell, Helen and Douglas Langlotz, Jim MacGill, Marie Mandryk, Rose Petry, Gordon and Heide Scott, Roy Solinger and friend Gerda, and yours truly. Esther Berry held the winning 50/50 Draw ticket for a priize of $ 23.00. Our numbers are dwindling, due to illness, we wish them all a speedy recovery. We are planning to meet again, March 17, same time and venue, so if you are visiting our fair city, come and join us, the welcome mat is always out for you.
